Spring ReBirth!

As the saying goes, bloom where you are planted.  And well, appropriately enough, I have been transplanted to a new home and have been considering just this idea.  Like a little weed seed that has found her way into yet another crack in the pavement, I am moving from one extreme place to another.  From the hood to the suburbs, referred to as disturbia by some, I see that these two places have so much in common, in that they are so much of what this country is- either one or the other.  (Of course, either one of those two- or something completely different altogether!)

Either way, they are both places with great potential.  One because of the amount of need there is, the other because of the amount of resources available.  So, now having come from a place of great need, I rest in the place of significant resources (mostly unbeknownst to the people who live here) to contemplate what is next for this life.

I think of this little seed dropped in the pavement's crack, and I wonder, what will become of it?  How will it grow?   Where will it find its nutrients?  Will it bloom where it was planted?

And of course, as life wants to keep living, it must.  So, bloom where you are planted, little weed seed.  There is much more life to live!
